David Crockett (1786-1836)

This painting depicts frontiersman David "Davy" Crockett wearing his "trademark" buckskin clothes, holding his trusty flintlock. Crockett famously and heroically fought to defend the Alamo during the Texas Revolution, where he was killed by Mexican forces in 1836.
