Denali Snow

A dusting of snow is captured atop Ruth Gorge, a glacier in Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Denali's upper reaches are almost three vertical miles below the summit of Mount McKinley.

Denali National Park and Preserve’s dynamic glaciated landscape supports a diversity of wildlife, including grizzly bears, caribou, wolves, Dall sheep and moose. Birds and wildflowers grace summer slopes.
