
Farmland Patrol - Marines, Afghanistan (Photography)
A Marine Corps Lance Corporal - who is from Green Bay, Wisconsin and is the team leader with 3rd Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment - patrols farmland near where Lima Company first established an observation post in Southern Shorshork, Helmand Province, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Cobra. Operation Cobra was a joint operation between Marine Corps units and the Afghanistan National Army to disrupt enemy forces, which were using the sparsely populated region between Marjah and Nawa as a safe haven.
