Logline: In this feminist twist of the fairytale “Bluebeard” by Charles Perrault, set in 1920s America, a young socialite meets a mysterious widower and agrees to marry him. But once she moves into his home in the country, she begins to find disturbing clues as to what happened to his former wife.
Bio: Mirella first wrote “The Judith Kiss” during her undergraduate studies at Skidmore College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in English. Her other writing credits include two episodes: “Curiouser and Curiouser” and “Over the River and Through the Woods” for the upcoming Amazon TV children’s series, “The Adventures of Snow White and Rose Red.” She currently works as a Middle School teacher at a school for students with language-based disabilities and is in the process of earning a M.A.T. in Adolescent Education at Fordham University.
