Laura Cross is a writer, producer, director, published author, and founder of Rebel Seed Studio - a film production company, book publisher, and podcast network - and Rebel Seed Shop - featuring her Modern Americana designs in apparel and arts & media.
Her first film, the short action/war drama Devil Dogs was set during the battle of Fallujah in the Iraq War. The movie premiered at the 2017 GI Film Festival in Washington, D.C., and aired on television on the ShortsTV channel network in the U.S., Europe, South America and India.
In 2019, Laura produced the audio documentary series Battlefield Fallujah, the true story of the deadliest battle of the Iraq War, which features interviews with more than 35 warriors, from Lance Corporals to 4-Star Generals.
She also runs the podcast and blog Ink & Cinema where she shares insights for storytellers (screenwriters, authors and filmmakers), talks with producers and directors about their experiences and projects, and interviews industry insiders about their expertise in the business of writing and filmmaking.
