Archival Print Info

Archival prints are produced on the highest quality Fuji paper, which is designed to last for decades. With a paper weight of 200gsm, these prints are offered in either a Deep Matte finish or a Pearl Gloss finish, and can be mounted for a ready-to-hang artwork.

Deep Matte produces rich color, sharp details, and a subtle warmth, with a soft velvet feel. They have a lusterless, non-reflective surface.

Pearl Gloss produces vibrant color, high gloss, and a pearl effect (pearl mica crystals are embedded in the paper, which reflects the silver-white and metallic highlights, creating an intense warmth, and depth in the print).

Archival prints can be ordered as prints only (without mounting), or they can be mounted on a 3/16" thick Gatorboard (an extruded polystyrene foam board, which is bonded between two layers of Luxell wood-fiber veneer). Designed to last, Gatorboard is rigid, durable, and won't warp or bend. Lightweight, with a matte black finish, it is also water-resistant and easy to clean. (To clean Gatorboard, gently wipe with a cloth.)

Mounted with Hanger - Print is mounted on Gatorboard with an attached plastic saw-tooth hanger for easy wall display.

Float Mounted - Print is mounted on Gatorboard and includes mount blocks that "float" the print 1/2" off the wall.

Archival prints are printed by our production partner in California, and shipped flat from either our studio in Indio, California, or the printing house in Santa Cruz, California. Production & delivery time is approximately 7 to 14 days from the date of order.
