This restored vintage black & white 1921 photograph captures New York City Deputy Police Commissioner John A. Leach, right, as he watches agents pour liquor into the sewer following a raid during the height of Prohibition. This Americana print adds character to any room and makes a great gift.

This print is a restored reproduction of a vintage photograph printed on canvas or archival paper. Vintage photographs are, by their nature, imperfect & may contain defects inherent to their age or original photography method. In some images, you may notice a grain or a soft blur common in older photographs. Photo reproductions have been meticulously restored, professionally enlarged, and may be significantly enhanced. At our discretion, some imperfections on the print may remain untouched for authentic aesthetic purposes, and to reflects its original history.
